The places you left – they will quickly forget you,

the places you’re heading to – they will disappoint you until the rest of your life. No place on earth for you.”

What does it mean to live apart from the world, but stay constantly online? How does the act of self isolation become a political, personal protest? Where can one still migrate to, in a world that’s completely discovered?

Leaving Israel to Berlin. Leaving Berlin, not leaving the room. The classic expat- illuminated by screenlight, surrounded by cameras and computers, always online, always exposed, preaching to the nation, working out, earning money, fighting the enemy, changing the world, trying to find a home in the last place one can still migrate to – the internet.
